Nefertiti Facelift Offers Another Use for BOTOX

BOTOX continues to be the most sought-after nonsurgical cosmetic procedure in the U.S, helping thousands of Americans erase frown lines and wrinkles around the eyes to create a more youthful appearance.

However, one doctor is encouraging women to try BOTOX for a mini facelift, a simple treatment that enhances and reshapes the lower face to create a sculpted appearance.

Nefertiti Facelift

Dr. Philip Levy in France published a report on his 'mini-facelift' strategy last year, indicating that using BOTOX along the lower jawline could be the only treatment many aging women need to achieve a youthful facial contours. He named it the 'Nefertiti Lift' because the results could sculpt and tone up the lower jaw to mimic the timeless Egyptian beauty who represented the 'ideal beauty.'

The procedure is a minimally-invasive option for those interested in facial rejuvenation without extensive surgery, and may prove to be an effective way to tighten up sagging and wrinkled skin while erasing a few years - or even a decade.

Other non-surgical facelift options include the Threadlift which involves attaching sutures to the skin and tightening them to create an instant 'lift'; and facial liposuction that removes excess fat and skin tissue to create a streamlined appearance.
