This 62 year-old female from Columbus Indiana wanted enhancement of her lips. While they had never really been full lips, they had gotten thinner as she got older. In addition, the outer corners of the mouth had started to turn down giving her a sad appearance. Dr. Barry Eppley, Indianapolis plastic surgeon, performed upper and lower lip advancements as an office procedure done under local anesthesia. The design of the lip advancements also provided a lifting effect of the corners of the mouth.
