What is your charity organization of choice and why?

Susan G. Komen for the Cure. I spent my early life doing Breast Reconstructions. Recently, I have had to experience the disease with someone in my family and I know how devastating it is.

What makes your specialties the right fields of medicine for you?

I am an artist at heart, and transforming people into a more beautiful self makes me feel great.

an architect! Women want to be immersed in beauty, so if I were not a plastic surgeon and I couldn't make them beautiful, then I would have loved the oportunity to make their surroundings beautiful!

Can you tell us in your own words what you consider a perfect outcome of a surgical procedure?

The perfect outcome is an outcome that the patient sees and I see. I consider an outcome beautiful when no one can tell you have had anything done.

What is your favorite procedure to perform and why?

Buttock and Face Accentuation, because it makes you thinner on the outside and fuller on the inside permanently by using your own body fat. With my artistic eye, this procedure allows me to make you look great in a subtle, natural, and permanent fashion.

Dr. Hakki received his plastic surgery training at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. A graduate of Damascus University School of Medicine, he served at Georgetown University Hospital as an Assistant Clinical Professor and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Hakki also holds board certification from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Hakki, throughout his 25 year career in a practice dedicated to plastic surgery, offers an unparalleled combination of medical skills and the refined aesthetic sense of a sculptor and sketch artist.
