Describe the most rewarding experience that you have had working with a patient?
It is rewarding when the patient experiences healing along their journey from lifestyle changes and a few non-toxic therapies. It is so beautiful to see patients coming in saying "wow! this has changed my life." And really I know that its not really "me" thats done anything... I am only a vehicle through which healing energy has come...
What is your charity organization of choice and why?
charityfocus is my organization of choice because their motto is "be the change you want to see in the world"-- this is how I live my life. If there is something that I think needs to change, I understand the change has to begin with me.
What does living in the Takoma Park community mean to you?
Takoma Park is a beautiful community... its a little piece of the Westcoast in the East. Our neighbors make an effort to talk to each other and are friendly in general. So it becomes a community, rich with connections and a sense of community.
Trained at the only Naturopathic Medical College on the east coast- Univ. Of Bridgeport, College of Naturopathic Medicine, receiving an Doctorate of Naturopathy, as well as a Masters in Clinical Human Nutrition.
I specialize in Fertility & Women's Health
And what I really love to do is teach so that patients may be empowered to take part in their own healing processes rather than depend on the "all-knowing doctor" to tell them what to do.
