Q&A: I wear glasses both for short and long distance. Will laser correct both near and far sight?

does laser correct both near and far sight. I wear glasses both for short and long distance.What i'm asking is, will laser correct both. Also would like to know the cost and is there a difference in the quality of the physician.

Laser vision correction cannot correct both, but monovision correction can provide great distance vision in one eye, and great reading in the other. Another option for patients closer to 50 years of age or older is Clear Lens Extraction. The natural lens is removed, and replaced with a lens implant that can correct both near AND distance in each eye, instead of 'splitting' your vision.
