my ear has ripped where my piercing is, interested in reconstruction, what does this surgery involve & how much?- Sharon
--Carlton Scroggins, M.D.
The surgery for a torn ear lobe repair is an in office minor procedure done with a local anesthetic. The procedure involves removing the scar tissue and careful closure of the skin edges with sutures. The sutures are removed a week later and the ear can be repierced several months later.

The earlobe repair typically costs $750 for one earlobe. I would recommend coming in for a free consultation so we can take a good look at the ear.
