Q&A: How can I get a scar on my eyebrow removed or repaired?

Ask A Doctor Question:
Hello, I've been looking into getting my scar on my eyebrow removed or repaired for quite some time now. I would like to make it as least visible as possible but I just don't want any more hair of my eyebrow since it's already missing enough. Any suggestions on what I should do? The scar is vertical and goes straight down my eyebrow in a very visible position, and if you look at it from the side it sorta sticks out.- Abraham

Hi Abraham. I would be happy to see you. Interestingly, once the non hair bearing scar is removed the brow can actually look normal. It's a really good place to do a scar revision. I use magnifying glasses, called loupes, to avoid injuring the hair follicles. Dr. M
