Do less expensive lasik procedures mean lower quality in vision correction or is it the same as a more expensive procedure?  What price range is reasonable?

Lasik is not a commodity. Surgery procedures are usually not discounted.  You need to search for a surgeon for your only 2 eyes just as you would choose a doctor for any other surgery (heart, arms, knees, brain etc.) Most surgeons who evaluate their patients to make sure they are safe healthy candidates for a surgical procedure, do the surgery themselves with their own laser (not all doctors have their own surgical equipment) then do the follow ups on their surgical patients most likely charge between $1,600. To $2,500 per eye. Many times financing is available if needed.

As you may see there is NO simple answer to this question. Your first concern should be to find a doctor you are comfortable with and can trust.
