"I love my patients and feel they are some of the most wonderful interesting people I have ever met."
hi, i'm a 31 yr. old female and had liposuction twice on my abdomen, i'm 5'3 and 110 pd. 80%of my body fat seem to be in my stomach, my first lipo i wasn't satisfied because the moment i ate food i got fat bulges coming out on my sides and lower ab, so my doc. redid it, it seems to me that he took out pretty much all the fat out, but my waist is still fatty feeling, it seems like i have fat rolls, but i think that maybe it could be excess skin, when i tighten my abs it goes pretty flat but my skin feels and looks like an old lady's skin, kind of like "chicken skin" very loose but the rest of my body my skin is very tight, but the first time he did my lipo my skin was firm, do you think that maybe he took out too much fat?.. do you recommend a tummy tuck for this, i don't want to do lipo again, and if youdo recommend a tummy tuck how is the scar situation for this and also what if i decide to get pregnant will that put me back to square one or worse with stretch marks, please help..thanks - rachel
"Dr. LeBlanc is AMAZING! I am very pleased with the results of my reconstruction after bilateral mastectomy. She is very caring and compassionate; something you don't find very often in doctors today. Thank you Dr. LeBlanc for helping me get back to normal, after breast cancer. You are one in a million!" Steven S. Carp, MD, FACS, is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and has specialized in cosmetic, plastic, and reconstructive surgery since 1993. Dr. Carp understands that plastic surgery requires a combination of skills, technique and an artistic eye; knowing each and every patient has different needs that must be understood. The combination of which presents him with an exciting and challenging career.
Belly fat can be one of the hardest types of fat to lose, regardless of your weight, body shape and size. Men and women both struggle with losing that layer of fat over the abdomen, and diet and exercise alone aren’t usually enough to get rid of belly fat. Plastic surgery may be the answer for many, and there are several procedures that can help to get rid of belly fat and create a flat, toned and sculpted appearance.
Every surgeon uses different liposuction techniques to get rid of body fat permanently. Power assisted liposuction (PAL) is one of the most innovative fat removal procedures available in the United States and is often chosen by board-certified cosmetic and plastic surgeons to remove large volumes of body fat with ease. The procedure is less traumatic than traditional liposuction procedures, and offers a number of body contouring benefits.
Excess fat and skin under the chin and around the jawline can add years to your appearance and make you appear much heavier than you already are. Many people who have a “double chin” find that losing weight with diet and exercise doesn’t resolve the problem. The extra fat accumulated in this area could be a result of genetics so the only answer really is plastic surgery. Many plastic surgeons offer facial liposuction procedures to get rid of the double chin, but there are now a variety of techniques that can help to not only get rid of the extra fat but also create a youthful and sculpted appearance.
The “banana roll” is the term used to describe the stubborn roll of fat located just below the buttocks. This extra fat can appear on even skinny people because it is usually the result of genetics, not body weight. Even if you work out regularly and eat a healthy diet, this extra fat can be very pronounced and may be impossible to get rid of. Fortunately, there are some plastic and cosmetic surgery procedures available that can eliminate or shrink the banana roll.
This evolutionary change in fat removal and body sculpting provides the greatest comfort imaginable for the patients, shortens procedure length, and because it minimizes bruising largely, healing is much quicker.
