Allan D. Gross, D.D.S.
Dr. G. Exclusively
Cosmetic dentistry is about looking your best. It's about perfecting the smile you have with things like whitening, porcelain veneers, crowns and mercury-free tooth colored restoration. It's an easily accessible way to address chips, cracks, uneven teeth and even gummy smiles. These cosmetic changes are often referred to as the aesthetics or artistry of enhancing your smile. When it comes to aesthetics, Dr Allan Gross ("Dr. G. Exclusively") is a natural.
In Hollywood they realize that teeth are much more than an accessory. After all, what else do you wear everyday and to every event? What dazzles more than the confidence of a beautiful smile? Good teeth are always in style, and if there was an Oscar for creating the "most beautiful smile", it would surely go to Dr. G.
Neuromuscular dentistry is a detailed and scientific way of restoring teeth to their optimal bite. When your bite is uncomfortable or out of proper alignment, the muscles surrounding the jaw have to work harder. In turn, the body compensates by making the muscles in the face, neck and shoulders work harder resulting in migraines, vertigo, ringing in your ears, headaches, neck, shoulder and back pain.
(TMD) / TMJ, also known as temporomandibular joint dysfunction affects as many as 75 million people Those who suffer from TMD have a structural imbalance in the jaw to skull relationship caused by a bad bite and can suffer from even worse symptoms: unexplained chipped, cracked, loose, sensitive or worn teeth, headaches or migraines, pain or soreness around jaw joints, pain in teeth that seems to move around, neck, shoulder or back pain, facial pain, clicking or grating sounds in the jaw joints, limited movement or locking jaw, numbness in fingers or arms, congestion or stuffiness of the ears
Full Mouth Restorative Dentistry
This is the restoration of natural teeth that have been decayed, damaged or lost. Teeth can be reshaped; old dental work can be redone; bad bites can be restored to their original health and unsightly gaps can be filled in as if they never existed. With Dr. G., full mouth restoration is never a lengthy, drawn out procedure. Depending on the complexity of the problem the entire process can be done in as little as weeks with just a few visits. But he'll spend whatever time you need to make it perfect. During your first appointment, Dr. G. will remove all of your old restorations and any decay that has occurred. Impressions of the underlying healthy tooth structure are made along with temporary teeth. These temporaries are worn until your next appointment about three weeks later when they are replaced with the final restorations. Any minor adjustments for comfort are quickly done right there. In the time it would take to alter a new suit or dress, Dr. G. can alter your life. But no clothing will ever give you this confidence. "Wow" would be an understatement.
Sophisticated, state-of-the-art technology is imperative to realizing Dr. G.'s aesthetic vision for each of his patients because aesthetics are a science. To create the perfect smile, one must analyze the proportion of the teeth as they relate to one another in precise, mathematical proportion.
High-End Digital Cameras
High-end digital cameras allow him to see your teeth magnified on a high-resolution monitor, allowing for better diagnosis and the most conservative treatment options. A painless soft tissue laser allows him to contour and restore symmetry to an irregular or receding gum line. Digital x-rays are clearer than normal x-rays and ensure the lowest radiation possible. He also utilizes electromyography, similar to an EKG to monitor the activity of the muscles you chew with. Computer sonography allows him to listen to the sounds the jaw makes. Ultra low-frequency tensing relaxes your jaw muscles to once again, aid in diagnosis. Less than 1% of the dental offices in the U.S. have the technology necessary for these critical digitally corrected views and analyses.
When you were little, the best part of going to the dentist was getting a new toothbrush or maybe even a lollipop. Well, with Dr. G. prepare to feel like a kid in a candy store.
How about a paraffin hand wax while you're being worked on? Aromatherapy? What scent? Gourmet coffee or tea? A shoe shine? A soft cozy blanket? How about a private movie screening on ceiling-affixed monitors or through virtual reality glasses?
In Dr. G.'s mind, his patients are his guests. And from the moment you walk into his elegant, comfortable office, it's like being in someone's home. Music? Dinner reservations? Transportation? Whatever you want. Your comfort is everything both physical and mental. With the help of a small pill, you can deeply relax through your procedure in special foam chairs that mold to your body. Everything about becoming a Dr. G. patient is reason to smile.
