LocateADoc.com Offers Patients More Choices in LASIK Technology

LocateADoc.com has partnered with Alcon, Inc., manufacturers of LADARVision® to provide its visitors with more options and additional information when seeking refractive surgery.

All doctors currently using the LADARVision® system for vision correction will receive a free listing on LocateADoc.com, while patients using the site can find information about LADARVision® along with a list of doctors offering the product. The new partnership will allow Alcon, Inc. to market directly to the consumer, while offering doctors using its product exposure to more than 500,000 visitors per month.

Each doctor's listing will include an icon indicating the use of LADARVision®. "This will help give patients even more options when considering refractive surgery," says Glen Lubbert, president of LocateADoc.com. "Potential patients will be able to find information about LADARVision® and will be able to contact doctors in their area specializing in the use of this technology."
